This little known town is fortunate with a hidden treasures. A sensational blue lagoon nestled within a hillside, and is protectively covered by a forest. Its dark tinge comes from the Pacific sea pouring in from a deep underwater cranny.
To local folks, it is said to be charmed. Full of rich body of water fishes swimming in this bottomless blue river, and no one is said to have ever caught one. Once you take a swim in the shallow, clear waters, it's impossible for you to came out. This enchanted river as they say, is far from the national road. It takes few hours to get there considering the rough and slippery road when rain pours. But even if this river is said to be enchanted and all. Many foreigners still came and take a look on this blue lagoon. Others tried to measure the depth of the river, but none of them succeeded.
If any of you would like to see and take a swim in this captivating river, it is located at Barangay Dugmanon, Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur. That is in the third Island of the Philippines, Mindanao.
Nwala na yung pgka-enchanted ng river sa dami ng tao. I am planning to visit the river by next week pero parang nawalan ako ng gana, kasi summer ngayon, for sure maraming tao. hehehe but still the river is so majestic. :D
