Surfing at Siargao

Love surfing? I guess this one's will be your favorite spot for that activity. Check out the capital surfing spot in the Philippines, Siargao Island. Its enormous waves and amazing views caught the surf lover’s eyes. 

Siargao Island contains the largest mangrove plantation reserves in Mindanao, at Del Carmen. It's endless stretches of wetlands show a potential difference for commercial commercialized seaweed propagation reproduction. Siargao Island is greatly influenced by the winds and currents coming from unbroken Pacific Ocean, intensified by the Island's current moving westbound through the Siargao Strait.

The world-class surfing wave on Siargao with a global reputation for quilted, deep, tubes of "Cloud 9". This perfect-breaking reef wave is the site of the yearly organized Siargao Cup, a national and international surfing competition sponsored by the provincial government of Surigao del Norte.

Since the Island is located in a coastal area, you can see a lot of beaches and resorts. It also has an all in one view like Natural Spring , waterfalls, numerous caves and mountain ranges where you cannot find in other tropical spots.

The Island can be called a dreamland for some who has just set foot on it. It's a perfect place to rest and witness a different beauty of nature.
